André Cruz
Chef André Cruz studied at Estoril Hospitality School, and after he refined his skills at Bica do Sapato and VírGula before joining Feitoria Restaurant in 2009.
A transformative journey through South America in 2014—staging at Bolivia's Gustu and Chile's Boragó—profoundly shaped his culinary philosophy.
Returning to Feitoria as sous-chef in 2015, he assumed culinary leadership in 2022, debuting his signature menu "Semente." Days later, he earned the "Chef Revelation 2022" award and was named among Portugal's "20 chefs to watch."
Today, he maintains Feitoria's Michelin star and has garnered inclusion in La Liste and 50 Best Discovery, two SOIS from the REPSOL Guide, and was elected Chef de l'Avenir 2025 by the International Academy of Gastronomy. He divides his time between the kitchen and his vegetable garden in Pinhal Novo, where he also tends beehives.
